Forest Forum Speaker Series
Published: October 2025
Description
The Yale Forest Forum Speaker Series brings together voices from across science, policy, and practice to explore timely topics related to people, forests, and forestry. Speakers come from a wide range of organizations and perspectives, including government, NGO, business, and academia, working at scales from local to international. The series is held every spring and fall semester.
The Yale Forest Forum serves as the events and convening hub of The Forest School at the Yale School of the Environment, and the YFF speaker series is the longest continuously running speaker series at the Yale School of the Environment.
The series is free and open to the public to attend virtually. Recordings are posted after each session, and each series culminates in an edition of the YFF Review, a publication summarizing the series’ presentations and key takeaways.
Hosted by the Yale Forest Forum at The Forest School within the Yale School of the Environment, in collaboration with the Yale Applied Science Synthesis Program (YASSP) and the Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture.
