What We Do
Welcome to the Digital Education Team at Yale Online within the Yale Poorvu Center! We manage a comprehensive course catalog featuring a diverse array of subjects from across Yale University, ensuring efficient navigation and accessibility across multiple platforms like Coursera, YouTube, and Canvas. Our catalog includes both degree programs from professional schools and non-degree offerings, all with the goal of elevating online education institution-wide. Working closely with Yale faculty, we project manage the creation of online courses, collaborating with the Yale Broadcast Studio for production excellence. Additionally, our partnership with Coursera allows us to launch open courses and engage in marketing initiatives to reach a global audience. So, join us on this exciting journey of learning and growth!
We’re Results Driven! Since 2014, we’ve:
- Have over 12 million learners enrolled on Coursera
- Supported the launch of 7 non-degree programs with 4 professional schools
- Created over 20 courses in collaboration with the School of Public Health Executive MPH degree program
- Highlighted dozens of faculty through our social media channels

The team member will request a course or program proposal from you, and once that is finalized through the proper approval channels, we can get to work.
