Sharing Yale Online with the World: A Newsletter Snapshot
By Jasmine Taylor
Did you know Yale Online has a quarterly newsletter? In today’s digital world, we—like many organizations—connect with learners in multiple ways beyond social media. Our newsletter offers a convenient and direct way for our global audience to receive relevant updates about Yale’s online offerings. As September winds down and October approaches, here’s a glimpse inside our most recent edition.
On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, we were thrilled to announce the launch of our newest course: The Hunt | Job-Searching and Career-Building with Purpose, taught by Yale lecturer Peter Boyd. You may recognize Peter from his popular 2023 course, Connected Leadership, which focused on strengthening leadership skills. With The Hunt, he shifts focus to building your career toolkit. Whether you’re just starting out, exploring a new direction, or aiming for a promotion, this course equips you with tools to take your next step with confidence and purpose.
We’re also excited to share Navigating Corporate Engagement in Carbon Markets, a six-week short course designed for climate professionals. This program is synchronous, offering live sessions led by experts and enriched by peer exchange. Developed by Yale’s Environmental Leadership & Training Initiative (ELTI) with support from the Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture, the course explores carbon credits, due diligence, partnerships, and risk mitigation. Applications are now open through December.
For those looking for a longer-term commitment, consider the Clean and Equitable Energy Development Certificate Program. This fully online program (about 5 hours/week) is offered by the Yale School of the Environment. It provides the knowledge, tools, and network to design equitable, community-centered clean energy solutions. Participants develop a project plan alongside peers and faculty and leave ready to create meaningful impact. Applications are due November 10.
