Description

The activities offered by Yale CME include primary care, specialty, and subspecialty topics in the field of medicine. The scope of these activities involves the body of knowledge and skills generally recognized and accepted by the profession as within the basic medical sciences, the discipline of clinical medicine, and the provision of health care to the public.

The Yale School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education as a provider of continuing medical education. The school offers a variety of continuing education programs directed both at practicing physicians and at physicians whose interest is in the basic sciences.

As a CME program dedicated to the dissemination and discovery of new knowledge towards the betterment and health of society, Yale CME provides unbiased educational activities presented by renowned Yale and visiting faculty, that are intended to enhance physician and other health professionals' performance. Outcomes measures assess how these programs influence behavior for the purpose of improving health outcomes and patient care.

Delivery

Duration
Our activities range from .25 credits for a 15-minute session up to 16 credits for a two-day conference.

Fees vary by activity type and duration. Special rates available to Yale Faculty, Staff, Fellows, Students and Residents.
