Planetary Health Leadership Program

Description

The Planetary Health Leadership Program is an 8-week virtual certificate program developed by Yale School of Nursing. Designed for mid-to-senior level clinical, academic, and administrative healthcare professionals, the program builds leadership capacity at the intersection of climate disruption, health equity, and global interdependence — equipping participants to drive meaningful change within their institutions, communities, and beyond.

Through live asynchronous and synchronous sessions and a progressive individual capstone project, participants engage with systems thinking, political determinants of health, implementation science, and global partnership strategies. 
 

Prerequisites

Designed for mid-to-senior level clinical, academic, and administrative healthcare professionals with demonstrated commitment to advancing planetary health, equity, or systems-level change. There is no specific degree requirement; professional experience in clinical, academic, or administrative settings is expected.
